Crack in Time Jam Tour 2006 Improvised Experimental Jam Tour
This summer 'a Crack in Time and the Break of Dawn' carried out
an improvised experimental jam music tour.
The travel route as well as the music were totally improvised.
Four musicians connected to the Crack in Time project were exploring the northern parts of the globe,
bringing a minimal sound system, an electronic drum kit, electric guitars, their voices
and various other sound sources together with a video camera and a hard disc recorder.
All the time they were posting their live
FREE jam music videos here.
'The Briksdal Glacier Jam' is especially noteworthy.
Here you can see the musicians playing beneath the impressive 'Briksdal Glacier' in Norway.
The majestic surroundings makes people seem like ants,
the wonderful peaceful atmosphere that were present
is reflected in the music..
The musicians would like to give a special thanks to 'Melkevoll Bretun'
for their hospitality and their internet connection..
The 'Molde Jazz Festival Jam' is also quite interesting and worthy of a study in itself.
The camera is poining away from the musicians towards the audience (bypassers).
It is quite interesting and slightly absurd to notice that even at the passages where
the music
undeniably sounds pretty amazingly good,
most of the bypassers manage to show
a complete and utterly
disinterest..
